There was a service bulliten on it and the filler hose needs to be replaced with the new designed one ... Look to make the fuel door side of the car when filling it, higher than the driver side by pulling into a place that has a angle to it and it will ease the filling problem until you get around to changing it... Call and talk to Micha 303-384-4548 at Go Chrysler Jeep in Golden Colo. and he will give you the Prowler John Discount if you want to put the new style filler tube on and buy it at 10% over there cost.. Make sure you tell him that Prowler John sent you so you get the price brake... It seems to match the angle of the filler neck and helps to ease the problem. I still have a problem sometimes, even with the fix, if the car isn't sitting at the right angle.
